Not really.

Before I came here it was pretty clear that modern marriage and divorce is very harmful financially and emotionally to men.

It doesn’t really. I don’t pay much attention to what most people say about it. It does make me grateful for the women (and men) who have really been taught family values, because I don’t think a lot of people here have been.

Things I read can open my mind to new options, but I doubt they’d really change any of my core beliefs, they’re too strong.

If things I read made me question how ‘right’ the beliefs were though, I could see them changing.

Doesn’t change my thoughts of people, I’m pretty social, I’ve been around almost every kind of persona already haha =o)

for god sake how can people be so low these days and not accept everyone how they are?!..It would be so much better with NO labels, everyone could be who they are without any caryon and it wouldnt be a big deal to all the homophobs everywhere because there is really no point to it! Marriage does not involve man and woman..it can involve man + woman..man and man or woman and woman..you cant control who you love, if you could there would be no point because it wouldnt really be classed as love..it just happens..love is love, no matter the gender!

1. Separate but equal, isn’t.

2. Most places which have domestic partnerships do not offer the same legal implications as marriage.

3. Where is it written in stone that marriage(something that isn’t a natural phenomenon anyway!) requires a only a man and a woman? Oh, the bible? Well, can I write my own book and use that as an argument then?

4. Trying to degrade our struggle for equality? Weak attempt. Next!

It has only reaffirmed my previous thoughts on marriage. That’s it’s a stupid and unnecessarily risky thing for a man to do.
